Atlantic City Electric Net Metering

ACE is required under NJ law to offer net metering to residential solar customers. When your solar system produces more power than you use, the surplus flows to the grid and ACE credits your account at the retail electricity rate. You draw those credits down when you need more power than your panels produce.

ACE customers submit their net metering application through their solar installer after installation is complete and inspected. ACE processes the interconnection and upgrades your meter to a bi-directional net metering meter. Timeline is typically 4–8 weeks from application.
