The Connecticut Residential Solar Investment Program (RSIP) provides an upfront per-watt incentive for qualifying residential solar installations in Connecticut. The program is administered by Eversource CT and United Illuminating on behalf of the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) and the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA).

How CT RSIP works:

The RSIP stacks with the federal 30% ITC, CT's 15-year property tax exemption (CGS § 12-81(57)), the CT 6.35% sales tax exemption, net metering, and CT Green Bank Smart-E Loan financing. Connecticut's combined incentive package is one of the strongest in the Northeast.
